What does the county executive committee do? The purpose of the Harrison County Democratic Executive Committee is to make sure the Democratic Party comes out on top in elections. They do this in several ways including precinct organization, fundraising, and holding political events and rallies. When and where does the executive committee meet? The Harrison County Democratic Executive Committee currently meets twice a month at the Democratic Headquarters at 308 West Main Street in Clarksburg. How does one become a member of the executive committee? The main way one becomes a member of the Harrison County Democratic Executive Committee is by being elected. Members are elected during the primary election in non presidential election years. There are times when openings become available on the committee, and when this occurs, the executive committee appoints someone.
